CBA Opens Registration for 103rd Fall Meeting Following Summer Webinar

The Cookware & Bakeware Alliance (CBA) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its 2nd Annual Summer Webinar held July 23, which saw solid attendance from membership.

The Summer Webinar focused on emerging industry trends, regulatory updates, and committee initiative progress and accomplishments. “We’re thrilled with the engagement and positive feedback from this year’s summer webinar series,” said Fran Attilio, CBA Managing Director. “The strong turnout reflects the industry’s commitment to staying informed and connected during these rapidly evolving times.”

Building on this momentum, the Alliance has officially opened registration for its 103rd Annual Fall Member Meeting, scheduled for October 8-9, 2025, at the Sheraton Suites Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois.

The upcoming Fall Member Meeting agenda includes:

Craig Akers from the International Houseware Shippers Association will address the critical issues of shipping and container costs – a timely topic for both general and supplier members navigating current logistics challenges.

Tom Lee will provide a the BCLP legislation update covering an expanded scope of regulatory concerns including PFAS, lead, cadmium, tariffs, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements affecting the industry.

Catalina Flores from Euromonitor will present their latest housewares trend research with a special focus on bakeware, complementing their cookware-focused presentation from the spring meeting.

Vanessa Peterson from PPG will return to unveil the highly anticipated PPG Color of the Year, giving attendees the first look at upcoming color and design trends in the industry.

This diverse lineup offers valuable insights for all attendees, whether they work in product development, marketing, engineering, or executive leadership positions.

The two-day event will begin with committee and board meetings on October 8, followed by the General Session on October 9. The General Session is a hybrid meeting experience and will include committee updates, an HQ report, and the four featured presentations. While in-person attendance is reserved exclusively for current CBA members, the Alliance has created opportunities for prospective members to participate.

“We recognize the value this meeting brings to the entire industry,” noted Attilio. “That’s why we’re offering virtual attendance options for those considering membership with the CBA. It’s an excellent opportunity to experience the benefits of our alliance firsthand.”

Interested cookware and bakeware manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers are encouraged to purchase virtual tickets, which provide access to the hybrid sessions on October 9. Early bird pricing is available until August 15, 2025, with virtual tickets priced $150 per person.
