Cookware & Bakeware Alliance Celebrates Record-Breaking 2025 and Strong Start to 2026

Bradley Beach, NJ, Release: For Immediate Release.

The CBA reports 40% Newsletter Open Rate, 85 Volunteers, and Five New Members as It Launches Monthly Video Updates for Members

The Cookware & Bakeware Alliance (CBA) kicked off 2026 with a comprehensive look back at an exceptional 2025, highlighting significant achievements in membership growth, industry engagement, and advocacy efforts.

In the inaugural edition of “What’s Cooking with the CBA,” a new monthly video series launched in January 2026, Managing Director Fran Attilio shared impressive metrics that demonstrate the organization’s impact across the cookware and bakeware industry. The CBA welcomed five new members by year’s end, reversing early-year challenges to finish 2025 with strong momentum.

“Thanks to all of you, we had a wonderful, amazing, really strong year,” Attilio said in the video update. “We’re not just surviving, we’re thriving thanks to all of you.”

The organization’s fall member meeting broke attendance records with 75 participants representing 43 different companies. Volunteer engagement also reached new heights, with 85 individuals from 32 companies actively participating in CBA committees throughout the year.

On the advocacy front, the CBA partnered with key stakeholders including the Cookware Sustainability Alliance and the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) to address critical industry issues. The organization took action in Washington State and Minnesota, fought against California SB 682, and kept members informed about tariff developments and legislation affecting their businesses.

Educational initiatives remained a cornerstone of CBA’s mission in 2025. The organization published part four of its PFAS education series and expanded its legislation tracker to include both Lead and Cadmium and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws.

Looking ahead to 2026, Attilio emphasized that the CBA is financially stable with active committees and new revenue streams through the Industry Connection Sponsorship Program. The new monthly video series represents one of several initiatives designed to enhance member connection and communication.

In the January video, Attilio highlighted a timely member benefit as trade show season approaches: the ability to display the CBA logo at industry events and in marketing materials. Members can download the logo and promotional materials from the organization’s Info Hub to showcase their affiliation at upcoming shows including the the Gift Show in Atlanta, Ambiente in Frankfurt, the Inspired Home Show in Chicago, and the Canton Fair in China.

“Being a part of the CBA and what we do with our standards is just another kind of way of having third-party validation from a respected organization that makes a difference,” Attilio explained, noting that the logo serves as credibility and helps members stand out in a crowded marketplace.

The CBA also announced expanded support services for members. Following successful one-on-one calls with over 20% of the membership in late 2025, Attilio encouraged members to schedule conversations to discuss challenges, questions, and resource needs. Additionally, Membership Coordinator, Lakelyn Tumminia, is expanding her role to assist members with Info Hub access, member directory updates, and event registration.

“We’re in the middle of our strategic plan and working with all of the members is such a pleasure and such an honor,” Attilio said. “We’re not just reacting to challenges anymore. We are responding and shaping the future of not only the Alliance, but the industry.”

The monthly “What’s Cooking with the CBA” video series will continue throughout 2026, providing members with regular updates on organizational activities, featured member benefits, and industry developments.
