The CBA Welcomes Organizations Interested in Membership to Attend Fall Meeting

The Cookware and Bakeware Alliance (CBA) announces final preparations for its highly anticipated Fall Member Meeting, set for October 8-9, 2025, at the recently renovated Sheraton O’Hare in Chicago. This meeting represents a culmination of the association’s “Committees in Action” initiative and will feature four industry-leading presentations addressing critical market challenges.

The two-day event begins with committee meetings and a board session on October 8, followed by a full day of presentations and collaborative discussions on October 9.

“What makes this meeting special is how we’ve structured it to maximize engagement between our committees and the broader membership,” explains Fran Attilio, Managing Director of the CBA. “We’ve created an environment where everyone can contribute ideas, even if they don’t serve on a specific committee.”

Highlighting the meeting is an impressive lineup of industry experts addressing timely topics:

  • Craig Akers from the International Houseware Shippers Association will discuss the current shipping crisis and escalating container costs affecting manufacturers and retailers
  • Tom Lee from BCLP will provide a comprehensive legislative update covering expanding regulatory concerns including PFAS, lead, cadmium, tariffs, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
  • Catalina Flores from Euromonitor will present their latest bakeware trend report, complementing their spring cookware forecast
  • Vanessa Peterson from PPG will unveil the company’s 2026 Color of the Year in an exclusive first look for CBA members

“This lineup of speakers has something for everyone – whether you’re in product development, marketing, engineering, or executive leadership,” notes Attilio. “We’ve deliberately selected topics that address our industry’s most pressing challenges.”

For potential members interested in experiencing the CBA’s value firsthand, the Alliance is offering virtual attendance options for non-members. “We’ve made virtual tickets available specifically for companies considering membership,” explains Attilio. “It’s an excellent opportunity to preview the caliber of information and networking that the CBA membership provides.”

Registration for the CBA Fall Member Meeting is open until September 16. For more information about the event or to register, visit the CBA website or contact membership services at info@cookware.org.
