The Cookware & Bakeware Alliance Gears Up For Exclusive Mid-Year and Fall Member Events

Bradley Beach, NJ, Release: For Immediate Release.

As we approach the second half of the year, the Cookware & Bakeware Alliance (CBA) is excited to announce two significant networking events exclusively for their members – the Mid-Year Committees in Action Update webinar in July and the 102nd Fall CBA Member Meeting in Chicago this September.

These events signify the commitment of CBA to create valuable experiences for its members, offering them unique networking and learning opportunities. But the CBA is more than just meetings; it’s a platform for action and development.

A variety of committees are working on industry-related issues and advancements in career and business development.

The Engineering Committee is focused on developing and structuring the Engineering Standards for cookware and bakeware manufacturing. It also has subcommittees initiating education and advocacy programs in areas like PFAS, lead and cadmium, and sustainability. The Sustainability Subcommittee is exploring options for recycling, and the Standards Review Subcommittee is working on new standards and developing a new platform.

The Education Committee is developing training programs, the Expertise Committee is producing beneficial industry reports, and the Engagement Committee is initiating networking and other member-centric benefits.

Industry connection, Tom Lee, Partner from BCLP now provides CBA members a monthly US Regulatory Update Report. It’s an incredible overview on the scope of US legislation and the enacted laws impacting our industry. June’s update featured amendments to Colorado and Maine’s PFAS laws.

With such exciting plans lined up for the second half of the year, it’s the perfect time to join the CBA and leverage these opportunities.
