Release of Engineering Standards Update

The Spring Meeting coincided with the release of the CBA’s updated Engineering Standards for Cookware and Bakeware. A major addition in this edition is a new 32-page chapter dedicated to nonstick coatings. This chapter reflects the latest industry knowledge on performance, durability, and safety for nonstick cookware and bakeware surfaces. The 2026 Engineering Standards are included in CBA membership and are available for purchase to non-members at cookwareandbakeware.org/engineering-standards/.

Events Ahead: Summer Webinar and Fall Meeting in Chicago

The Alliance has two key events on the horizon for its membership. On July 15, 2026, the CBA will host its Summer 2026 Webinar: Committees in Action — a free, members-only event. The webinar offers members direct visibility into the work of CBA committees and subcommittees across engagement, education, engineering, and more.

This fall, the CBA will gather in person for the 104th Annual Fall Meeting, scheduled for October 1 and 2, 2026, at the Sheraton Suites O’Hare in Chicago, IL. The Board of Directors Meeting will take place on September 30th. Details on registration and programming will be announced in the coming weeks.
